Keep your patrons “highly” informed with Respectful Signage.

No matter where you stand on the political, often sensationalized topic of pot, you pretty much have to face fact that Dylan was right, “These times, they are a changin’.”
We all better wrap our brains around the idea that more and more people will be wrapping their lips around joints and pot-brownies, while in public!
Proprietors need to figure out where they stand, and express it with Respectful Signage.
You may respect a person’s right to smoke, but kindly ask, JUST NOT HERE. or you may be whole-heartedly behind the movement, it’s JUST FINE HERE.
Even if the law states, “Smoking in public remains illegal,” as it does in Alaska, that doesn’t mean the public-at-large knows the idiosyncrasies of the law.
“Private exchanges are allowed if money is not involved,” but the question remains, exactly where and when can these private exchanges happen. Your building? Your restaurant? Your hospital?
“Private property owners can still ban or regulate marijuana on their property -- individuals, employers, schools, hospitals, youth centers and corporations are just a few potential entities that could prohibit or regulate cannabis on their property,” states Alaska Dispatch News.
There are more questions than answers in the state of Alaska right now, and the Anchorage Police Dept is responding with a new “Know Your Grow” website:
Please note there is a “Property Owner's Rights” section on the “Know Your Grow” website with more details and information.
We all know this, when it comes to laws and marijuana, we can easily be confused with all the legalese. Toss in lawyers, add countless law makers and sprinkle in a few journalists writing about all these confusing changes, you’re bound to be just that -- confused.
Find out your rights.
Decide where you stand.
And then find the appropriate signage that speaks your voice here: http://www.respectfulsignage.com/store/c16/Marijuana.html
If you don’t see what you need, please Suggest a Slogan and or book a consult for custom-made merchandise. We can add your business name, logo or information to any of our signs or decals. Thank you for supporting small business!
